Our coffee shop in the brand new Flatiron by Meridian building is finally open to the public! The first of three designs in collaboration with Thalias, the name behind the Khéma restaurants in Phnom Penh, and Meridian International Holding, the space is designed for the city's growing crowd of corporate customers, young entrepreneurs and business travellers. In a city packed with coffee shops, Khéma Go is the stylish answer to Phnom Penh's demand for a more modern, metropolitan experience.
Eventually complementing a classy selection of restaurants on higher floors of the skyscraper, Khéma Go is the first glimpse of what Flatiron's vision of contemporary city living will bring to Phnom Penh. The space itself is simple, elegant and bright – we were inspired by Scandinavian design, which takes a minimalist and functional approach, incorporating robust materials such as light oakwood and grey concrete finishes with clean lines. In Khéma Go we also needed to make sure that the warmth and intimacy of Khéma's well-loved brand was felt in an open lobby space.
We also designed the fine dining restaurants Siena, a steakhouse, and Khéma, the third in their series of restaurants around Phnom Penh. Both are currently under construction.
