Unilever Cambodia Headquarters

Unilever Cambodia Headquarters

Phnom Penh, 2023

Brand lounge with Unilever logo wall, soft seating, indoor planting, and natural light creating a relaxed collaboration environment

The workplace design for the Unilever headquarters draws a direct relationship between the brand’s global identity and the local Cambodian context. Curved spatial elements and a vibrant color palette index the company’s diverse product range, while architectural details integrate traditional craftsmanship through the use of warm rattan, bamboo lighting and a reception counter inspired by temple art.

The plan prioritizes communal connection and knowledge sharing through large‑scale dining areas with picnic‑style seating and environmental graphics depicting local landscapes. Beyond the aesthetic narrative, the floorplate is engineered to drive innovation and cross‑functional teamwork through a rigorous zoning strategy. Purpose‑built areas support different working modes: dedicated quiet zones facilitate deep focus, personalized spaces promote individual connection, and open collaborative zones encourage group interaction.

Operational efficiency is designed into the guest experience, with curated arrival sequences and logical flow throughout the floor. To support long‑term staff wellbeing and productivity, the design incorporates dedicated rejuvenation and mindfulness zones. This integrated approach ensures the headquarters functions as a high‑performance environment where global brand standards, local cultural sensitivity, and operational requirements are resolved together.
