Maersk Cambodia Headquarters
Maersk Cambodia Headquarters
Phnom Penh, 2023

The workplace design for Maersk Cambodia expands the office from 1,050 to 2,100 square meters to accommodate team growth and rising service demands within the global logistics sector. The spatial strategy prioritizes adaptability and productivity, combining fixed collaboration infrastructure with flexible rooms and support spaces to match evolving operational patterns.
Technology is integrated to enable online collaboration, data analysis, and flexible meetings. The fit‑out includes 17 meeting rooms, an intuitive booking system, a large pantry, and a multifunctional townhall fitted with movable partitions to convert between large all‑staff gatherings and smaller break‑out sessions. These elements support scheduled team coordination and ad hoc, cross‑functional activity, and maintain efficient daily workflows across the floorplate.

Local artistry and inclusive programming are central to the experience zone. Collaborating with a Cambodian artist, the 12th floor Wow‑wall was designed as a detailed, high‑tier installation inspired by national landmarks. A rainbow container wall was also developed for the collaboration area to reference Maersk’s iconic LGBTQ rainbow container, signaling a commitment to inclusivity and community. Container‑themed walls and recycled seating materials reference Maersk’s global logistics role and circular practice, adding warmth and identity to the environment.
Environmental choices and durable fit‑out strategies were prioritized to support long‑term performance and the client’s net zero by 2040 objective. Scalable planning, integrated technology and locally resonant design together provide Maersk Cambodia with a resilient workplace that supports operational needs, staff wellbeing and the company’s inclusive brand commitments.
