Khéma GO Phsar Thmei is a standout bakery and café in central Phnom Penh, designed to catch the eye along a busy one-way street near the city bus station. The architecture features a bold, box-like form with a wide canopy, creating a strong roadside presence that is easily visible to commuters and travelers. Strategic lighting and crisp lines highlight the building’s modern identity, while the flexible structure adapts well to its urban site. Inside, the interior design prioritizes efficiency and comfort, with a layout that supports smooth customer flow, self-service bread displays, a clear front counter, and both indoor and outdoor seating. Sustainable materials such as reclaimed wood and recycled stainless steel are used throughout, with stainless steel elements integrated into the carpentry for a unique, textured effect. The warm, modern atmosphere is enhanced by thoughtful detailing and a palette that balances industrial and natural finishes. More than just a bakery, Khéma GO Phsar Thmei serves as a future hub for Phnom Penh, offering high-quality, ready-made meals in an accessible setting for locals and travelers alike. The design brings together convenience, comfort, and a distinctive sense of place for the city’s growing community.
