Khmer Beverages Experience Pavilion

Phnom Penh

The Khmer Beverages (KB) Experience Pavilion in Phnom Penh, designed by The Room Architecture and Design, brings together industrial functionality and refined aesthetics within the active compound of KB Brewery by Chip Mong Group. The Pavilion balances corporate branding with a welcoming hospitality experience, creating a space that serves multiple functions. The exterior features layered geometries and expansive glazing, forming a circular structure that responds to climate and orientation, with a facade system of double layered glazing and extended overhangs to reduce solar heat gain. Structural clarity and transparency connect the interior with the landscaped surroundings, while concrete planes, defined volumes, and natural materials create a calm, function led environment. Inside, a double height atrium is filled with natural light from large, curving glass walls and a central oval skylight, anchored by a circular bar clad in vertical timber beneath the skylight, highlighting craftsmanship and offering views of the brewing process through expansive glass walls. Soft, richly colored upholstery and minimalist forms set a contemporary yet restrained tone, while strategic lighting enhances comfort, circulation, and atmosphere. The Pavilion reflects Cambodia’s evolving architectural landscape, meeting international standards and thoughtfully interpreting local culture and environment.
