Khéma GO at Flatiron

Phnom Penh, 2022

Khéma GO is the first of three designs we completed for Thalias Hospitality Group in Phnom Penh’s Flatiron by Meridian tower. Opened in early 2022, this coffee shop serves busy professionals looking for a quick moment to rest during a hectic workday and is located in a corner of the building’s ground floor lobby, with a simple, bright, and elegant atmosphere. Inspired by Scandinavian design, the space adopts a minimalist and functional approach, using durable materials like light oakwood and grey concrete finishes with clean lines to set it apart from other coffee shops in the city. Offering ready packaged gourmet sandwiches, salads, and baked treats, Khéma GO is a compact version of the well established Khéma restaurants, and the design challenge was to reflect the warmth and intimacy of the Khéma brand in an open space.
