Chip Mong Bank Headquarters

Chip Mong Bank Headquarters

Phnom Penh, 2025

Workstation zone defined by curved architectural partitions, timber insets, and integrated niches that create visual identity while maintaining spatial continuity

Located across four upper floors of the Chip Mong Bank Tower, the workplace occupies a vertical sequence of programs that open onto sweeping city views. The design expresses the institution’s identity as reliable, forward‑looking and grounded through tactile natural materials, curved forms and layered textures.

A cohesive material narrative of soft greens, ribbed timber elements, natural leather and terrazzo is deployed throughout the levels to provide visual continuity while allowing each floor to perform a distinct function. Fixed workstations and service blocks establish the core operational framework, while informal lounges, collaborative corners and dedicated boardrooms provide settings for discussion and decision‑making. Curved niches and integrated storage are used to soften the plan and create human‑scaled moments without compromising the layout.

Acoustic focus booths integrated into the perimeter wall providing semi-private work settings for calls and concentrated tasks within an open-plan environment
Flexible meeting space with tiered seating and integrated planting that supports presentations, town halls, and collaborative workshops within the workplace environment
Open desk clusters positioned along the façade to maximize natural daylight penetration, improving employee wellbeing and reducing reliance on artificial lighting
Breakout collaboration area featuring a central island counter, soft seating clusters, and warm material palettes designed to support informal meetings and team interaction

Light, material and movement are orchestrated to support a professional environment that enhances both focus and collaboration. The arrangement of seating modes and spatial thresholds encourages task‑oriented use as well as longer meetings, while material transitions signal the change of use between public zones and private working areas.

The office environment balances functional requirements with a considered user experience. Material choices and spatial sequencing articulate the bank’s brand narrative in plain, durable terms, while the organisation of service and social spaces supports the daily operations of a professional financial institution.
